LIBRARIES IN HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ REGION

Public libraries play the role of cultural, community-based and training centres in all municipalities.

There are 438 public libraries and branches in the Hradec Králové Region, of which 51 are professionalized libraries set up by cities and municipalities.
The Library of Science and Research in Hradec Králové fulfils the role of a regional library and 6 libraries are responsible for regional functions.
Furthermore, there are 24 basic libraries with specialized funds registered in the region.
